SEWING FOR GOOD.
MAKING MASKS TO PROTECT OUR HEALTHCARE WORKERS AND COMMUNITY DURING THE
COVID-19 HEALTH CRISIS
EVERY MASK CAN SAVE A LIFE.
STITCH BRIGADE'S MISSION
Stitch Brigade was formed to mobilize creative community members to use their talents to serve the needs of the local community in Western PA and Eastern OH.
Increasingly, nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and hospitals have expressed that they are in dire need of masks in order to protect people during the COVID-19 healthcare crisis. We are mobilizing our community to come together to answer their call and to save lives.
So, please get involved any way that you can. There are so many ways that you can be involved!
"ALONE, WE CAN DO SO LITTLE;
TOGETHER, WE CAN DO SO MUCH."
All donations will go directly toward materials for making masks and related expenses.
A DONATION OF JUST $15 CAN PROVIDE 10 MASKS!
Stitch Brigade is a fund under the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH. Click "DONATE" above to make a secure tax-deductible donation on the Foundation's website.
We need STITCHERS to make masks. You don't need to be a pro!
We need DRIVERS to transport materials (when necessary).
We need MARKETERS
to get the word out!
These opportunities to volunteer and more are listed on the contact form at the bottom of this page. You don't need to know how to sew to be involved!
WE DO NOT SELL MASKS.
Our primary focus is to help local nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and hospitals in Western PA, but we will do what we can to help any others in need.
If you request masks, we will be in touch with to confirm eligibility.
Thank you for your patience as we are working hard, but the demand for masks is currently very high.
